Visit the Tsodilo Hills

Visitors can dive into the profound human history of the Okavango region with an excursion to the sacred Tsodilo Hills. Located in the northern part of Okavango, more than 4000 rock carvings adorn the walls and caves of the hills. A UNESCO World Heritage Site in itself, there are three main hills: Child Hill, Female Hill, and Male Hill. Some of the 500 different rock art sites date back 24,000 years and were created by various different ethnic groups.
