I was brought up in Hermanus and my love affair with hospitality started in South Africa where I trained to be a chef. During my 23 years in the hospitality industry, I have been very fortunate to work in some of the finest restaurants and hotels throughout France, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
I joined the Red Carnation family in 2001. After many years in the kitchen, I decided to diversify my career and took a position in Front of House, before becoming Food and Beverage Manager of the five-star Milestone Hotel & Residences in London.
I returned to South Africa in 2011 to start my own business. For the last eight years I have been very fortunate to be based between South Africa and the UK, predominantly spending my time at Red Carnation's Forbes five-star Hotel 41 in London. I am so excited to join the Xigera team and to bring all of our Red Carnation passion and expertise to Botswana.
